Amendment
2 is an anti-gay ballot measure that will make
Florida one of the most backwards states in the
country, where gay couples have no ability to
legally protect each other, even in life-and-death
situations.

Democratic canidiate Barack Obama, Republican Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and former Florida Govener and Senator Bob Graham all agree on one thing. They all oppose Amendment 2.
DON'T BE FOOLED. VOTE NO ON 2
Amendment 2 would "enshrine discrimination in our state constitution," is "mean-spirited and misguided" and "would cause grief and suffering to other couples, weather they're gay or not," reports The Miami Herald who recommends a NO vote on Amendment 2 because (1) it bans "any legal union that is the subtantial equivalent of marriage," (2) would jeopardize the benefis and health insurance that many employers provide to unmarried, heterosexual couples; (3) puts at risk hospital visitations rights of unmarried couples.
