Vote YES for the Citizens Bill of Rights!

Dear SAVE Supporter,

We are pleased to share with you one of our recent successes.  As you can see by the article from today's Miami Herald ( click here to read article), SAVE was able to lobby for the inclusion of "gender identity and expression" to the non-discrimination clause of the City of Miami's proposed Citizen's Bill of Rights, scheduled to appear on the January 29th ballot. The non-discrimination clause also includes the category of "sexual orientation". (click here to view the proposed resolution)

If you are eligible to vote in the City of Miami, we strongly encourage you to vote "Yes" for this ballot measure by selecting #60 on your ballot.  If you are not a Miami voter, we ask that you contact any family/friends who are eligible and ask them to support this landmark proposal. The question will appear on your ballot as follows:

Shall the Miami Charter be amended to establish a Citizens' Bill of Rights to guarantee rights related to religion and conscience, speech, assembly and press, unreasonable searches and seizures, nondiscrimination, environmental protection, natural resources and scenic beauty and providing for remedies and construction?
