Second Reading of DP Ordinance Postponed to Wednesday, April 16th.

Mark your calendars regarding the second reading of the Domestic Partners and Family Health Coverage Ordinance ! The March 12th meeting of the Economic Development and Human Services committee has been postponed until Wednesday, April 16th.

The ordinance's sponsor, Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro, would like to personally introduce the measure, but will be unable to do so on March 12th as he will be in our nation's capital on county business.

Please do not show up at the Commissioners' Chambers on March 12 th . We will keep you posted on our efforts as we near the April 16 th meeting, but make your plans now to attend and to bring at least one friend with you.  Thank you again for your support and all your efforts to help pass this measure because, after all, it is Simply a Matter of Healthcare .
